Caller IDed himself offering tax free $6000.00 from a US Grant Program

Calls and hangs up. No answer. Call back returns a fast busy signal.

keeps calling by phone at any time with no answer. Only 2 beeps.

2 missed calls and then busy every time I try to call back

Have had two calls within two hours from this number. I didn't hear any heavy breathing, but there was a deliberate hangup with no conversation. Both calls were the same.

I first got a message on my answering machine about a service verification and that they would call back. Then someone has called back; EVERY DAY for the last 3 days. One call was NOT during acceptable business hours. There is a woman's voice saying Hello? Hello? Hello? and then it disconnects. I have an UNLISTED number so if they did not get it from me they ARE not supposed to call it. I use an answering machine that lets me literally hear the person's voice during the call so I can make sure I never pick up if I don't know who it is. If you don't pay for callerid you can get this type of answering machine for 15 dollars at Target/Walmart. If you have an unlisted number (not even information has it) and you ask how they got your number and tell them they are not allowed to call; if they do not immediately hangup and NOT CALL YOU AGAIN, by law you are allowed/supposed to report them.

Been receiving a lot of calls from this number lately, I answer and nobody answers on the other line, then they hung up. Got caller ID and when I see this number I don't pick up the phone at all, I just let it ring. Is there a way to stop them?

kristin, they got me too, and i'm starting to freak out about it. I really want to cancel this crap before I get charged a ton of money I dont have.

They said there is a lawsuit against me and my social security and if i don;t call them back they will use local police force to come into my work and or home and drag me to jail.

Upon answering this phone call, you get a recorded message saying you have an important phone call, please hold. Another recorded message comes on asking if you want to consolidate your credit card debt. Once, I pressed the button to talk to an operator. When I said I didn't have any credit cards and asked them to remove me from their call list, he hung up on me.

Calls several times per day. I can hear them breathing but they refuse to answer when I ask who they are and what do they want.
